いよいよ2020年4月1日から「受動喫煙防止」がスタート！

2020年4月1日より健康増進法が法改正されます。

企業がやらなければならない受動喫煙防止対策のポイント

多くの施設において、屋内が原則禁煙となります。

屋内で喫煙する場合は、喫煙専用室の設置が必要になります。屋外に喫煙所を設ける場合は、入り口から離れたところに喫煙所を設置しなくてはいけません。

対象施設

  • 事務所（工事現場等の事務所もこれに含まれます）
  • 工場
  • ホテル・旅館
  • 飲食店（喫煙を主目的とする施設は、対象外）
  • 旅客運送事業戦船舶、鉄道
  • 国会、裁判所

が、今回の法改正の対象施設になります。

※学校、病院、診療所、児童福祉施設、行政機関の庁舎等は2019年7月1日より敷地内禁煙になっています。

会社事務所や、工場等で働く人にとっては、タバコが吸いにくい環境になります。この機会に、禁煙を考えてみませんか？

タバコの害について

タバコには、大きく分けて3種類の有害物質が含まれています。タバコの有害物質によって害を受けるのは、吸っている自分だけだから。と思っていませんか？

ご存じとは思いますが、タバコの有害物質によって害を受けるのは、ご自身だけではありません。周りの人も受動喫煙と言って、知らず知らずのうちに、害を受けていることになります。

タバコに含まれる有害物質

タール

  • 多くの発がん性物質を含んでいます
  • 非喫煙者と比べると、肺がんによる死亡率は約4.5倍
  • 咽頭がんによる死亡の危険は約32.5倍

ニコチン

  • 麻薬を上回る強い依存性
  • 血管の収縮、血流の悪化
  • 血圧の上昇
  • 動脈硬化の進行
  • 狭心症、心筋梗塞になる危険性の増加

一酸化炭素

  • 全身の細胞を酸欠状態にします
  • 一酸化炭素は赤血球のヘモグロビンと結合して、酸素の運搬を阻害
  • 動脈硬化を促進

長年タバコを吸い続けた結果、吸わなければ、ならなかった病気にもなってしまいます。

タバコによる喫煙関連三大疾患

  1. がん
  2. 虚血性心疾患（狭心症、心筋梗塞）
  3. 慢性閉塞性肺疾患（COPD、肺気腫）

タバコを長年吸っている人、全ての人が病気になるわけではありませんが、可能性は非常に高くなります。

さらに呼吸器系の病気は、呼吸に関わるので、「苦しい」んです。そんな思い、したくないですよね。

受動喫煙の影響

副流煙に含まれる有害物質

  • ニコチン2.8倍
  • タール3.4倍
  • 一酸化炭素4.7倍
  • 発がん物質のニトロソアミンは52倍

妊婦さんのへの影響

  • 流産や早産
  • 胎児の発育障害

子供への影響

  • 乳幼児突然死症候群
  • 小児がん
  • 喘息、気管支炎
  • 中耳炎
  • 発達障害
  • 言語能力低下

直接の副流煙はもちろん有害ですが、タバコを吸った後、30分間は吐く息から有害物質が大量に排出されます。

タバコを吸った後、事務所に戻ってからも、あなたの口から、有害物質が排出されています。さらに、タバコの有害物質は、机や壁、髪の毛、衣類や持ち物へも付着し、その成分が手につき、体内に取り込まれます。

あなたの服や髪の毛を触った人が、直接有害物質を口に入れることもあるのです。

ですので、「換気扇の下で吸っているから大丈夫」「ベランダで吸っているから大丈夫」は通用しません。

換気扇で吸っていても、机や壁、髪の毛、服に有害物質は付着します。

ベランダで吸っても、ベランダの竿や壁に付着しますし、風で煙が流れて、隣の家の干してある布団に有害物質が付着することもあります。

今流行りの、煙が少ないアイコスはタールは削減されていますが、ニコチンは葉巻タバコと同じくらいの量が含まれているので、注意が必要です。

タバコとお金の話

現在のタバコは、セブンスター（20本）で1箱510円します。

一日1箱、吸い続けると、

  • 1年　　500円×365日×1  ＝   182,500円
  • 3年　　500円×365日×3  ＝   547,500円
  • 5年　　500円×365日×5  ＝   912,500円
  • 10年　 500円×365日×10＝  1,825,000円
  • 20年　 500円×365日×20＝  3,650,000円
  • 30年　 500円×365日×30＝  5,475,000円

すごい金額ですよね！この金額をタバコを吸うために使って、さらに健康を害して、医療費や介護費がかかると思うと、本当にもったいないです。

1年分の金額でも、十分家族で楽しい旅行に、行けそうです。

せっかくなので、自分が喜んだり、周りにも喜んでもらえることにお金を使っていきたいですよね。

タバコとストレス

「タバコをやめるとストレスたまって、イライラしちゃって、逆に周りに迷惑かけるでしょ」なんて声を聞くことがあります。

違うんです、タバコを吸っているからストレスが溜まっているんです。

禁煙を継続し、タバコのことを忘れることが出来れば、タバコを吸いたいと思うストレスから解消されます。

タバコを吸う→ニコチンが切れる→ニコチン切れによりイライラする→またタバコを吸う→イライラする

タバコを吸っている間は、このニコチン切れというイライラが付きまとうので、タバコを吸って一時的に解消されたとしても、またすぐにイライラするのです。

結局タバコを吸っている人は、常にイライラすることに？もなりかねません。

つまり、タバコを吸ってストレスを解消しているのではなく、実はタバコを吸ってストレスを作り出しています。

禁煙を継続することで、ニコチン切れによるイライラから解放され、ストレスが低下します。なので、タバコを吸っている皆さん、ぜひ禁煙を考えてみてください。

禁煙外来では、薬局では販売されていない大きいサイズを

処方してもらうことが出来ます。

【ニコチンガム】

薬局で購入できます。

【バレニクリン】

禁煙外来でのみ処方されます。脳の中のニコチン受容体に作用しニコチンを含まないタイプのお薬です。

禁煙外来では、ニコチンの依存度によって、適した禁煙補助薬が処方されることになります。

禁煙補助薬を使用すると、自力で禁煙するよりも、3～5倍禁煙しやすくなるといった研究報告も出ています。ですので、禁煙をしたいという方には、禁煙外来を受診することをお勧めします。

まとめ

タバコには様々な有害作用があり、喫煙している本人のみならず、周りの人までが有害作用の影響を受けることになります。

タバコを吸わないとイライラして困るというのは間違った捉え方です。タバコを吸っているからニコチンが切れてイライラするのです。

禁煙を継続することで、ニコチン切れから解放され、ストレスも低下します。
